Simone
Lucangeli

Simone Lucangeli is a construction engineer on the register of Engineers in Venice. He was born in 1977 in Mirano (VE), and graduated in 2004 in Civil Engineering from the University of Padua with a thesis on freeform glass and steel structures. He explored the theme during his work experience at Permasteelisa Spa, working on the BMW Welt project where he developed his first programs to generate steel structure geometry. In 2006 he started work as a freelance engineer. He collaborated with Patron and Vendrame on the CMA-CGM Tower project and together they founded Studio Tecnico Associato VLP in 2008.

Giovanni Patron is a construction engineer on the register of Engineers in Padua. He was born in 1978 in Mirano (VE), and graduated in 2004 in Civil Engineering from the University of Padua with a thesis on the vulnerability and seismic damage of ordinary buildings. While he was at university he spent one year at the École Nationale des Travaux Publics de l’Etat in Lyon (France) before working at an engineering firm in Padua where he managed his first structural inspections and construction sites. In 2006 he started work as a freelance engineer before founding Studio Tecnico Associato VLP in 2008.

Anna Vendrame is a construction engineer on the register of Engineers in Padua. She was born in 1977 in Aviano (PN), and graduated in 2005 in Civil Engineering from the University of Padua with a thesis on the restoration of historical buildings. In 2006 she obtained a master’s degree in this field and collaborated with the Government Department for the Environment and Historical Buildings of Venice on the survey and monitoring of the city’s bell towers. After working at an engineering firm in Padua, she started work as a freelance engineer and founded Studio Tecnico Associato VLP in 2008.

Rodrigo Ennas is a construction engineer on the register of Engineers in Cagliari. He was born in 1978 in Cagliari, and graduated in 2006 in Civil Engineering from the University of Cagliari. After collaborating with the University of Cagliari for the preservation of historical buildings, Rodrigo went to Brazil and later to Angola to manage construction sites, first for an NGO and then for an Italian Engineering Consulting Company. In 2013 he joined the team at Studio Tecnico Associato VLP.

Salmaso

Michele Salmaso is a building engineer on the register of Engineers in Padua. He earned a master degree in Architectural Engineering at the University of Padua in 2011 with a thesis held in partnership with the PUCRS faculty of Architecture (porto Alegre, Brazil) about urban renovation and co-operative design. In 2012 he earned a professional master degree in Sustainable Architecture at IED (European Institute of Design) researching in deep the design process of energy efficiency building envelope integrated with BIM software. Michele is part of the VLP team since 2014.
Tommaso
Viola

Tommaso Viola graduated in Architecture in 2000 in Venice and he is part of Architect’s association of Padova, Italy. During many years he experienced different working contexts in Italy and abroad. Through the years he collaborated with many engineering and building companies working in many sites in both English and French speaking countries, where he worked as project manager. Since 2011 he is part of national register of qualified technicians for Architectural and Environmental Acoustic Design. He joined VLP team in 2014.
